CLUBS AND HOUSE REPORT………ECO CLUB
Aim of the club:- Eco-club is one of the many important activity clubs of an educational institution.Eco-club aims to raise the environmental awareness, understanding and knowledge among young people.. The Eco-Club provides a plethora of activities to sensitize the children to safeguard the environment.

Various competition conducted by Eco-Club are-
*Greeting Card Competition- The competition was organized for classes VI-VIII on 25thApril 2019 in the school premises. This activity aimed at exploring and encouraging creativity in children and giving them a platform to showcase their skills. It was wonderful to watch the zealous students giving expression to their thoughts.
Van Mohatsav Week- The Van Mahotsav week was conducted from 1/7/2019 to 5/7/2019. The students of class 3 to 5 conducted special assembly and conveyed to all the importance of trees through speeches and poems. Students brought saplings and planted it.
English Calligraphy Competition:- The competition was organized for classes 1 to 5 to improve the writing skills of the students. All the students took part enthusiastically.
*Best Out Of Waste Competition - Little hands and imagination minds came together in a creative burst of energy during the exhibition of “Best out of waste competition” which was organized on 3rd August 2019 for classes-VI to VIII. This competition was conducted to create awareness among students to use the waste products in best possible manner.
Hindi Calligraphy Competition Classes I to V:-The competition was conducted on 6/9/2019. All the students were given a topic to write. All took part enthusiastically.
LITERARY CLUB

Aim of the club:-
The literary club aims at not only refining the skills of the students but also developing them logic and curiosity to know more and to instill in them a confidence to speak well., The club organizes a rich and diverse array of literary activities such as debates,group discussions,recitation,story tellingetc.

*Hindi Recitation Contest:- The competition was conducted on 28thJune 2019 for classes I to VIII in the school premises. The children came up with different poems and recited them with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Aim of the Club:- The scientific and technological advancement of today is a long forward journey from stone age. Each individual has its own interests and abilities. To exhibit the growing interest of student, in stimulating group participation and mobilizing interest in learning science, school as form “Science Club” meant for “learning by doing” Science club channelize the energies of students and make use of their skills and talents.

Various competititons conducted by science club are:-
*Chart preparation competition:-The competition was conducted on 29thJune 2019 for classes VI –VIII.
*Inter-house quiz competition:-The quiz competition was conducted in two phases i:e for junior level and for senior level. For junior level (classes III-V), the competition was conducted on 17thJuly 2019,and Nehru house was the winner. For senior level (classes VI-VIII), the competition was conducted on 16th July 2019 and Tagore house was the winner.
*Science working model display competition:- It was conducted on 17th August 2019 for classes VI to VIII in the school premises.The main objective of this competition was to instill scientific attitude in the young generation.
Health & Wellness Club: “To keep the body in good health is a duty…otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.”

NEHRU HOUSE(International Day Against Drug Abuse)
Special Assembly was conducted for “International Day Against Drug Abuse” by Nehru house on 26/6/2019.to make the student aware about the evil effects of drugs. On this occasion ,SanskritiSinha of Class-VIII delivered English speech &BalpreetKaur of class-VII delivered Hindi speech. Beautiful posters were displayed to create awareness about drug abuse.
TAGORE HOUSE(World Population Day)
Special Assembly was conducted for “World Population Day” by Tagore House on 11/7/19.Valuable Speech was given by NavjyotiSoanof class VIII &SakshiVerma of Class VII on the disadvantages of population growth & measures taken by Indian government to check population growth.
GANDHI HOUSE(MUHARRAM,ONAM)
Special assembly was conducted for Muharram and Onam by Gandhi House on 21/09/19.It was conducted to develop the feeling of brotherhood & love. Anchoring was done byNupoorSahuof class VIII
A famous dance form of Kerala ‘Thiruvatira’ was performed by the students.
TILAK HOUSE
Janmashtami Celebration.: MVN PatancelebratedJanmashtamiwith great zeal in the school premises. Student of pre-primary and primary classes dressed in the attire of Krishna &Radha were the main attraction. The programmeconcluded with the breaking of dahihandi (full of sweets).
